8月9日(hachigatsu kokonoka): August 9

August 9 is day of Atomic Bomb dropped in Nagasaki (長崎). It was 66 years since it happened. There was a memorial service, and about 6,000 people from 44 countries attended. 3,288 people passed away within a year until July, and the name list of 155,546 people who are victims of the atomic bomb dropped in Nagasaki was dedicated.
In the night of August 6 I watched the TV program titled "Letters from hibakusha (ヒバクシャ)." Hibakusha is atomic bomb victims. What happened on August 6 and 9 in 1945 were really horrible.
This March we had nuclear plants tragedy in Fukushima (福島).
We should really think about the renewable energy.
