2022.4.30

The end of April.  How was it?

For me it was good. I had chances to wear kimono and have my pictures taken at Yokohama twice, had delicious meals, attended events and seminars, visited shrines and flower festivals, watched movies and so on.

Today I went to Kawasaki to see three movies. Two were Japanese and one was the Oscar winning movie. All were goods.

At night I attended two zoom meetings.

One is my regular tea party at tge end of month to share the good things happened in April in English and Japanese. It was fun.

2022.4.29

It was a cold rainy day.

The Golden Week has just begun.

April 29 is a national holiday. It was used to be Tenchosetsu from 1927 to 1947, Emperor Showa's birthday from 1948 to 1988, Greenery Day from 1989 to 2006, and Showa no hi (Day of Showa) since 2007.

If you take two days off on May 2 and 6, you can have 10 days holiday.

If the situation is different, I must have traveled abroad somewhere.

I was invited to a seminar in Tokyo. It lasted for 5 hours or so.

On my way home I went shopping at Kurihama.

At night I attended a zoom seminar about posture which was really useful.

I am pleased to announce that my 37th e-book is released today. It is about 98 days Peace Boat Trip.

It was cloudy and cool.

The Golden Week starts tomorrow.

What are your plans?

I went to Shimbashi to have crab dinner with classmates who studied international business management together about 9 years ago in Yokohama. We enjoyed delicious meals and talking about past, present and future. It was very interesting, and we promised to get together regularly with mutual classmates.

It was fine in the morning but rained at night.

I was rather busy at office to find a provider which sells the goods for experiment. I contacted a manufacture where advised more than 30 providers and I contcted there. To my intereseting  there were some providers but the price differed. Some said they can't sell because they have not had a business with us before.

At night I attended two online seminars. One by zoom, the other by Facebook live.

They were interesting.

It was cloudy and warm in the daytime but started raining in the evening.

After coming home I attended two zoom seminars. One was about Electromagnetic waves. I usually do not care about it, but learned that I should care more abou it.

I tried to make 37th ebook, but could not finish. While I was checked something I did not save the draft and closed the file without realizing and lost some parts, so I decided not to do it now.

It was fine and rather warm. 

The Golden Week will start soon and I am planning one day trip and three-day trip.

It is interesting to plan.

At night there was a zoom seminar, and I invited five people, but two of them could not join because of overworks unfortunately. One of them attended with fake beard by application. It was interesting.

It was cloudy in the morng, but became rain.

I went to Shinagawa to see my friends.

After that I went to Sugita to have my hair cut and perm. I visited Softbank to consult about the Smartphone and had late lunch too begore going there.

After that I went to Kimono shop to pay and pick up the new kimono, obi and bag. It is the very specially designed one. I am very looking forward to the day I wear the totally cordinated new kimono set.

At night I had a zoom seminars.

2022.4.23

It was fine.

I wore Kimono and went to Iseyama kotai jingu shrine and Naritasan temple.

After that I went to Kimono style Miya and got my hair done, makeup, dressed up the new kimono and obi and pictures taken.

After that I went to Kinshicho to have lunch with a friend and visited Kameido tenjinsha shrine to see wisteria festival

After coming home I attended a zoom session.

It was an eventful day.

It was fine.

After work I went to Shinagawa to have dinner.

There were many people here and there and it was difficult to find a place.

It's Friday night. It looked like before Covid-19 in a sense.

On my way home I had a stomachache.

It was a cold rainy day.

It's been a month since the universe new year.

There were four zoom sessions at night, but I only attended two of them. Both were very interesting.

One is a tea party of shrine lovers most of whom I met for the first time.

The other is the reunion of Reiki Overnight seminar held at Kurama one month ago. So I knew many of them. I enjoyed meeting them again.

It was a cold rainy day.

Today is kokuu (穀雨), one of nijushisekki(二十四節気) 24 solar terms. The last one was seimei (清明) on April 5 and the next one is rikka (立夏) on May 5.

Kokuu literally means cereal rain which means spring rain helps grains to grow.

 

For me April 20 is a very special day, especially this year is so special because it is the 30th anniversary of the opening EXPO 92 which changed my life a lot.

It was fine.

I went to Atsuta jingu shrine with friends, had delicious lunch. and attended a conference in the afternoon.

I could see my Facebook friend there too.

It lasted longer than I expected but I am glad to be in time for the booked Shinkansen.

I ate the boxed meal full of Nagoya specialties.

It was a fruitful day.

It was cloudy in the morning, but has been raining since afternoon.

After work I went to Tokyo station to take a Shinkansen bound for Nagoya. I changed the train and went to Kanayama.

 

To my lucky rain has already been stopped.

I stay overnight here to attend a conference tomorrow.

They provided me a spacy room.

2022.4 17

It was fine during daytime but slightly rained at night.

I went to the Hibiya Park to attend the Charity Walking Event. We went to the Imperial Palace and walked around there for two hours.

There was Paella and Tapas Festival in the Hibiya Park, and I ate Bocadillo for lunch there.

I went to the Nezu shrine to see the Azalea Festival which were so beautiful.

I walked to Ueno to visited temples, and a museum to see calligraphy exhibition where I happened to see my friends.

On my way home I went to Kamioooka to shop.

At night I attended a zoom Japanese culture festival.

Tonight is a fullmoon.

2022.4.16

It was fine.

I stayed at home all day long.

I attended a zoom event about Instagram first, which was a free webinar full of information.

My Facebook friend sent me a message and we decided to talk by zoom for the first time. We have been Facebook friends since 2017, but we have never met nor talked before. We belonged to the same travel club, had mutual friends, and enjoyed talking about traveling for an hour or so.

At night I attended another zoom seminar for nearly two hours, and after that I attended another exchange meeting about Easter.

I talked someone by phone, and exchanged messages too.

Most of them were decided today. Isn't it interesting?

2022.4.15

It was another cold rainy day.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to work in the morning as a ritual of the 15th of the month.

Trains delayed a little bit but I was in time.

I bought a commuting ticket for 6 months after work which cost yen 180,200.

On my way home I dropped at Yokosuka chuo to visit some banks and Kurihama to shop some foods.

I joined the free zoom body adjustment lesson for night for the first time.

2022.4.14

It was a cold rainy day though I did not have to use an umbrella.

I got some easter egg shaped chocolates from a colleague.

After coming home I heard a recorded telephone message and went to pay for the community fee. Her daughter and her husband run bakery, and she gave me some bread and bun. I tried some, and they were tasty. I am glad because I do not think I would choose them by myself.

It was fine.

The question I had yesterday was solved. It seems the price of salad increased.

After work on my way home I attended a zoom exchange event. I attended two breakout rooms. To my interesting there was the same person as the one before.

These days I am planning about some trips next month.

It was fine.

Usually I buy lunch almost the same things at the convenience store.These days I use the self checking ot counter, but today I used the checking out counter by person. To my strange the price was different. Since I used the smartphone application for checking, there was no paper receipt and I could not check the detail. I wonder why the price was different.

On my way home I got a call from a friend. She invited me to listen to the zoom meeting. I tried but I could not enter because it has been reached the 100 participants. But in a few minutes later, I could join.

It was fine.

After work I went to Ginza to have dinner with Expo'92 friends. Seven of us  got together and enjoyed the reunion eating delicious dinner.

I came home by the last train.

2022.4.10

It was fine.

I got on 8:15 train and went to Yokohama, changed the train to Hachioji where I was supposed to get together with my friend, but she missed the train and we decided to get together at the destination..

I changed the train at Otsuki and went to Shimo yoshida. I went to the famous noodle shop and had lunch there waiting for my friend.

After all  we met in front of the Fifth pagada.

Cherry blossoms were full in bloom. 

My friend enjoyed horse riding.

We had Shine mascat softcream.

After that we took a train to Fujisan station and visited two shrines after walking 2km.

On our way back there was a train accident and trains delayed, so that we decided to have dinner at Otsuki.

I came home very late.

2022.4.9

It was fine.

I stayed at home all day long.

I took the butterbur for the first time this year and cooked them. I boiled three times to take the lye but it was too much.  They became too soft. 

At night I attended a personal diagnosis for the body for an hour. It was interesting.

I planned for tomorrow and publishing for this year.

It was fine.

April 8 is known as hana matsuri (花まつり) literally flower festival, and actually Buddha's birthday in Japan.

Today was the last day of NHK's morning drama "Come Come Everybody." It is a story of mother, daughter, and granddaughter of 100 years. I usually watch the program at my lunch time. I really enjoyed it.

It was fine.

I took an hour off to attend a monthly meeting which was so exciting.

I went out for dinner at a Japanese restaursnt with friends and enjoyed talking.

I came home by the last train.

It was fine.

In the morning I attended a class. There were two presentations, one was by a best seller professor and very interesting, the other was too professional to understand.

At night I attended a zoom trial lesson for English pronunciation. After the lesson we talked a lot about mutual mentor, shrine visit, profession, job, waterfalls, and so on. I enjoyed a lot.

It was fine, but still cold. Mt. Fuji looked so beautiful covered with snow again.

Today is seimei (清明), one of nijushisekki (二十四節気), the 24 solar terms. The last one was shunbun(春分) on March 21, and the next one is kokuu (穀雨) on April 20.

At office I went to greet a newcomer who has happened worked at GRIPS when I was there and she entered there with my colleague . Isn't it interesting?

At night I watched a movie on TV.

2022.4.4

It was a cold rainy day.

I used the big umbrella after a long time.

On my way to the office the train delayed about 10 minutes, and on my way home it was delayed a little bit again.

At night I attended once a month zoom gathering for reading monthly tendency. I have met some new participants and enjoyed the break out room sessions.

It was a cold rainy day.

I started the day with 90 minutes toilet yoga trial seminar from 8 AM. Instructor decided to live broadcasting all of sudden, and I felt bad about it.

From 10 AM I attended another trial zoom explanation meeting about a seminar. It lasted for more than 3 hours. It was not the way I expected and felt bad again.

 I am glad I did not plan anything besides these and I could take a nap to recover from the fatigue I have had for the past few weeks.

I watched a movie at night.

It was fine, but very cold.

I started the day early by attending the body adjustment practice from 6:30 am.

I changed to Kimono and headed for Kimono Style Miya to have my hairset, makeup, dressed up, and pictures taken.

After that my friend and I visited a shrine and a temple and had Afternoon tea. She treated me which was a big surprise.

And I went to Shinagawa to have dinner.

It was a nice day.

2022.4.1

A new month has started. April is shigatsu (４月 or 四月) or uzuki (卯月) in Japanese. It is a time of start. The new fiscal yesr and academic year have just begun.

It was a cold rainy day in the morning, but became fine.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to the office as a ritual of the first day of the month. I changed the mounted salt too.

Today is a new moon. It is a good time to make wishes.

It was fine, but rained at night.

Today was the last day for the Dean and some staff, and we had a surprise send off gathering.

We got some sweets and presents from them.

My boss recently published a book, and he gave me a signed one.

At night I had the 7th Bilingual Tea Party to share the good things happened in March.

It was a nice March.
