2019.6.30

The end of June. This means the half of 2019 has gone.

So far so good for me. I have worked at GRIPS for three months and not worked for three months. Instead I attended many seminars and wrote three ebooks and published two of them, which became No.1 in the US market and others.

I went to Monaco in January, Kansai in February and March, Chichibu in February, Izu in March, Hong Kong in April, Nikko and Nagoya in May and so on.

I enjoyed being a kimono model. My picture appeared in the magazine.

It was rainy today so that I did not go out.

At night I watched "Your Name" on TV.

2019.6.29

It was a rainy day.

I stayed at home all day long.

I read a book which I tried to finish reading for a long time and had in the bag every day. It was easy once I decided.

And I watched a movie about the lecture which seminar I attended the other day. It reminded me of what I learned at the seminar.

2019.6.28

I thought the typhoon would come today but it did not.

I stayed at home all day long.

My neighbor came to cut arrowroots.

I finished reading a book my friend gave me the other day. It's been a while to read a real book.

After that I wrote thank you post to Facebook because my second ebook became No.1 in the USA, Spain (2 sections), Netherlands (2), Germany, Brazil, and Japan(3 sections). I tried to change the pictures of the front page but rather difficult.

At night I watched a movie on TV. The original is written by Keigo Higashino whose stories are always attractive.

2019.6.27

It was cloudy and rainy.

I went to Roppongi to attend a stock holder's general meeting. This time there were some women too. Since it is a food company the souvenirs were their products.

In Roppongi I usually go to Izumo taisha Tokyo bunshi (出雲大社東京分祠) and Fuji Film Square so that I did today, too.

After that I headed for Shinagawa to have lunch with a person who attended a seminar together about two years ago. I was surprised to know we have something in common besides the seminar.

In the afternoon I met my ex-boss at Panasonic after a long time. It's been more than 20 years when we worked together but he looked the same as before.

Yesterday I got a book from a friend and start reading it. These days I often read ebooks. So it's been a while since I read the hard cover book. My free promotion of the second book was over. I think giving a book is a very nice present. Don't you think so?

2019.6.26

It was fine.

They say today is the luckiest day of this year because of the combination of ichiryumanbaibi (一粒万倍日) and tenshabi (天赦日).

I was rather busy.

First I went to Kachidoki to attend a stock holder's general meeting. Different from yesterday, there were only three agenda or so and there were no questions and finished within 30 minutes. After the meeting they showed the short movie about the 100 years history of the company.

Next I went to the Tokyo Sky Tree to have lunch with ex-colleagues. We enjoyed the reunion.

After saying goodbye I went to Asakusa to visit the temple and shrines.

Then I went to Shinagawa to see some friends.

It was another fruitful day.

2019.6.25

It was fine.

I could print out the necesssry documents and submit and felt relieved.

I went to Shinagawa to attend a general meeting of the stock holders. There were so many participants. Some people asked interesting questions to the company. These days most companies do not give souvenirs, but this company still gave us some gifts.

After that I met an ex-colleague at a junior high school, and I taught him what he wanted to learn.

And I met some friends.

After that I visited Shinagawa shrine after a long interval. Today is a very good day for making money and starting something new. It is a day of snake and also so-called ichiryumanbaibi (一粒万倍日) which means one grain becomes 10000 times. I bought some crypt currencies, and am looking forward to hearvesting them someday.

After that I went to Hinodecho to meet my friend and practice Reiki. I finished practicing 30 times REIKI to get the qualification to take an examination. We enjoyed eating sweets after that.

It was a fruitful day.

2019.6.24

It was cloudy and rainy.

In the morning at 9:11 there was a rather big earthquake in Kanto area.
These days we often have earthquakes and worry about another big one coming.

I stayed at home all day long and prepared some necessary documents to submit. However there is something wrong with my printer. So I am worried about the dead line.

2019.6.23

It was cloudy and rainy.

I was going to see my friend but she became sick and canceled our schedule. So I stayed at home all day long.

In the morning I checked my ranking of the new book. It was ranked as No.1 in Japan, Spain, Netherlands and the USA. Congratulations!!

In the afternoon my neighbor csme to talk about arrowroot reached his house.  So I cut them. I realized that to be beautiful is not only for oneself but also for others.

2019.6.22

It was a rainy day.

Today is geshi (夏至), one of nijyushisekki (二十四節気) 24
solar terms. Last one was boshu (芒種) on June 6 and the next one is shosho (小暑) on July 7.  Geshi is summer soltice when the daytime is the longest in a year.

I went to Shinagawa to learn about crypt currency in the morning. There was BOM in the afternoon.

I had supper at a Japanese restaurant at the station where I have been interested in.

At night there was a meeting.

Today's big news is the start of free promotion. From today to June 26 my second ebook is able to download for free of charge. I hope many people will enjoy reading about Japanese culture.

2019.6.21

It was fine.

I went to Hinodecho to practice REIKI.

At the station I happened to see my teacher from junior high school. It's been so long since I saw her last but we could recognize each other and enjoyed talking until she dropped off at her station.

After practiced the first person we went out for lunch.  We had a good time eating a special course menu with souvenir. She treated me as a token of thanks of Reiki.

We went to a bookstore and said good bye.

I went to Kimono-style Miya and visited Iseyama kotai jingu shrine and Naritasan temple as usual and went back to my friend's salon.

After that I practiced Reiki for three persons. Everybody was pleased to feel good.

2019.6.20

It was fine.

I went to the 10th Education IT Solution Expo again with my friend.
I met some friends there, and decided to have tea.  We enjoyed the beautiful sceney from the 26th floor.

Today was a big day for us.

There was an announcement of getting the tickets of the Tokyo Olympic. Unfortunately I could not get any of them.

2019.6.19

It was fine.

In the morning I attended a half day training. At the last part I declared my commitment.

After that I went to the 10th Education IT Solution EXPO at Tokyo Big Sight Aomi Venue. If you have an invitation ticket, it is free but if not it costs yen5,000.  There are about 430 companies participating and it is the biggest educational Expo. I went there with my senior colleague at a junior high school.

After that I went to Shinagawa to see my travel friend.

It was another fruitful day.

2019.6.18

It was fine.

I went to Kachidoki to attend a training.

Before going to the venue I went to a bank to withraw money and transfer to pay the property tax. You can pay from the post bank or convenience stores for free of charge, but regarding the bank,  situation is different. I live in Kanagawa, so from some local banks in Kanagawa, it is free of charge, but from others it costs the handling charge. Therefore I decided to pay from the post office across the road.

The training started at 1 pm and ended at 5:30 pm followed by dinner party. There was a night meeting from 9:30 pm to11 pm.

During the night meeting there was a big earthquake in Niigata.

It was a long day.

2019.6.17

It was fine.

I stayed at home all day long.

I went to bed early in the morning. The sunrise glow was so beautiful.

I slept a lot to heal my lower back pain.

In the afternoon I watched some video seminars.

At night I made a new business card using my two new books.

Tonight is the strawberry fullmoon. Very beautiful.

2019.6.16

It was fine.

I went to Kimono-style Miya to have my hair set, make-up, and photo taken.
Since I have had a lower backpain I could not stand straight as I wished.

After that I headed for Kamakura to see fireflies. Today is the last day of firefly festival at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. Last year around this time I went there with my friend. There was a beautiful moon. Fireflies were flying elegantly.

2019.6.15

It was rainy and rather cold.

I went to Jimbocho to attend a trial seminar of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) for two hours and a half. It was interesting. I got the free invitation ticket more than a year ago, but I have not had a chance to take a lesson by now.

There were many options to do after that. However I had too much lower back pain to go anywhere and came home.

2019.6.14

It was cloudy.

I have had a lower back pain since yesterday.

I did paperwork in the morning and went to post office to send registered mails.

Then I went to Toyopet to have my car inspected. This happens every half year and it is free. However unfortunately they recommended me to change the battery and wipers. It took about one hour and cost about yen 30,000.

On my way back I filled up my car.

I made a bowl of green tea and enjoyed with summer sweets.

I cooked dinner too.

2019.6.13

It was fine.

I published my second e-book "Things Japanese in February" today.

I went to Yokosuka, visited some places, and all went well.

After coming back I went to a big shopping center and visited the second floor where opened recently. There are some rental meeting rooms. I hope to organize some meetings.

At night I joined a meeting of Kirei Design Instructors by Zoom meeting.
How convenient!

2019.6.12

It was cloudy.

I went to Yokohama to attend a monthly meeting.

There were two sessions.

Four of us went to have lunch at a Japanese restaurant in the same building. I was surprised to see that many restaurants were buffet style where you can eat everything at a fixed price.
We had a recommended fixed lunch set of shrimp and pork fillet cutlet. There were main dishes with shredded cabbage, rice, miso soup, pickles, and sesami bowl to grind on the tray. Besides these you can have rice, miso soup, cabbage, raw egg, tea and water as much as you wish.

In the afternoon session schedule was changed and we had three speakers.

After the meeting I went to see a friend but she was in the meeting and I could not see her.

I went to Iseyama kotai jingu and Natita-san.

2019.6.11

It was fine but became rain at night.

I stayed at home all day long.

I took a nap because I felt dull and pains here and there.

Since proofreading of my second ebook was finished, I wrote the book again.

2019.6.10

It was rainy and rather cold.

I went to post office to cancel one of time deposits I depisited two years and a half ago. Interest rate in Japan has been very low (0.01%) and I was disappointed to see the total amount.

I went to Shinagawa. First I went to visit an Izakaya (居酒屋) to book a table for tonight. Second I went to attend a study meeting of cryptcurrency.

After that I went to Nakanoshimbashi to attend a seminar about yin yang integration with my REIKI friend. It was very interesting.

There was a shrine nearby, so I went there too.

After heading for Shinagawa I went to have dinner with two friends at a Kyushu cuisine izakaya I booked in the mornong. We enjoyed talking and eating.

It was an eventful day.

2019.6.9

It was cloudy at first but became rain and rather cool.

I attended the REIKI Fourth Degree today. Today was the last day for our beloved teacher to teach the course. We have learned a lot from him.

After everything we had a farewell party for him.
There were more than 30 participants inspite of setting up for 2 hours.

I am glad to have joined.

2019.6.8

It was cloudy in the morning but became rainy.

I went to Takanawadai to attend REIKI third degree seminar as a sub-teacher. There were many findings today.
Reiki is a very good way to heal and grow  yourself. So I want to introduce REIKI to many people.

2019.6.7

It was cloudy in the morning and became heavy rain in the afternoon. It was rather cool today. They say the rainy season has set in. Rainy season in Japase is "tsuyu (梅雨)" which literally means plum rain. Entering rainy season is tsuyuiri (梅雨入り) in Japanese.

I went to Takanawadai to attend REIKI second degree as a sub-teacher.

2019.6.6

It was fine and warm.

I went to Takanawadai to be a sub-teacher of REIKI 1st degree. It was the first time for me to be the sub-teacher. We got together at 9 am and had a meeting and preparation. It started at 10 am and ended at 6:30 pm followed by tea party for 30 minutes.There were 8 groups and many certified teachers. I am glad to see Reiki friends and get to know new Reiki healers too.
I enjoyed being the sub-teacher today.
I will be for three days.

2019.6.5

It was fine.

In the morning my new smartphone froze and I could not even power off.These days my main contact platform has been LINE which only allows only one device. So I used the old smartphone to use Facebook messenger and and checked the addressbook to call from the public phone.
It's been a while since I used the public phone. I used to bring telephone cards with me, but when I changed the purse I did not include the cards any more and I had to use the coin.

In the morning I needed to take a bus to go to a place where I usually pass by car.
I had to wait for a long time.

In the afternoon I decided to go to Softbank to fix the problem of my smartphone. I am glad to be able to use it without asking for repair.

I went to Kanda to attend a monthly meeting in the evening.

2019.6.4

It was fine.

I went to Hinodecho to do Reiki for 2 persons in the morning.

After that my friend and I had lunch at a Curry shop where I could not enter the other day. It has only one plate lunch menu with 2 curries.

After saying good-bye to my friend, I visited the Iseyama Kotai Jingu. There was a family celebrating newly born baby's first visit to the shrine.

I dropped at a Jewery shop to say hello to my friend and took the Minato Mirai Line to Nakameguro to do Reiki for another person. To my surprise she gave me a box of Japanese crackers as a gift.

It was a nice day.

2019.6.3

It was fine.

I stayed at home.
I was supposed to receive two deliveries in the morning, but got only one because the other wss not shopped by mistake.

At lunch I baked hot cakes.

Today is a new moon when is a good time to think of wishes you want to realize.
I joined the zoom seminar of the new moon meditation at night.

2019.6.2

It was cloudy and partially rained.

I went to Tokyo to take some examinations. I happened to see my old friend there. It took about 5 hours in total.

After that I headed for Sakuragicho to have my hairset and dressed up.

There was a Yokohama port festival "Thanks to the Port 2019" including fireworks festival.
About 40 of us got on the yakatabune (屋形船) houseboat and enjoyed eating and watching Japanese traditional dancing and beautiful fireworks festival.

2019.6.1

A new month has started.
June is rokugatsu(六月) or minazuki(水無月).

I went to the nearby shrine as a custom of the first day of the month.

Today's destination was Shinjuku to attend Morinda's monthly meeting. So I decided to buy one day pass for yen 2,000 which I can take Keikyu Line and Toei Lines.

The meeting was from11:00 to 13:30. I measured AGE but the score was not good.
After having lunch I went to Ueno to visit Benzaiten because today was day of double snakes and a good day to visit there. After walking around the Shinobazu pond I came home.

Today I took a circle line of Toei Oedo line to make use of one day pass.

I cooked after a while.

It became a good start of the new month.
