 It was fine.

I left the carry case at hotel and headed for Kashima jingu shrine.  On my way I happened to see the parade.  I watched them for more than half an hour and visited the shrine.  After that I followed the parade to the port. This was the main part of the once in 12 year's festival. After seeing the boats, I went back to the station and moved to Itako, to see another part of the festival.

After that I headed for Katori jingu shrine.  Transportation was not good and I had to walk 2 km one way, and 2 km way back.

I went back to the hotel once and walked to the third shrine, Ikisu jinja shrine for another 2km. Office was already closed. I walked back for 2km again.

I took the 7:30 PM bus to Tokyo, and came home around 11 PM.

I walked a lot today, more than 33,000 steps.

It was a nice holiday.

2026.9.1

A new month has started. September is kugatsu（9月 or 九月）or nagatsuki （長月）.

It was cloudy.

I went to Kashima jinja shrine first to see the annual festival. I visited the shrines before the ceremony started. The ceremony started at 10 AM and lasted for one hour and and a half.

After that I went to the station and had lunch.

I went to Osugi jinja shrine by train and a bus.

I wished to go back to Kashima jingu shrine to see the night festival but if I go, there is no bus to go back to the hotel and I gave up.

After coming back I checked in and found that it was not the same hotel as last night.

I went out for dinner but ended up buying at the super market.I enjoyed eating.

It was a long day.

2026.8.31

Last day of August.

I went to Tokyo Regional Immigration Service Bureau on my way to the office. It was crowded and took time.

After that I went to Tokyo Fire Station Yurakucho Branch to submit the documents.

I walked back to the office via Imperial Hotel to see the Flower Arrangement of the Lobby.

I overworked till 19:45 and headed for Tokyo to take a highway bus to come to Ibaraki.  

I took a bus at 20:10 and arrived at 21:40. It cost yen2100.
