It was a rainy day.

 

There was one subject for six periods.

After school I walked around the Shinjuku central park to see the cherry blossoms.

From 18:00 my three classmates from high school and I enjoyed having dinner. One of them is from Germany for a short visit.

All of us have lived in the USA, and I have visited them while I was traveling.

The restaurant is the one I used to go when I was young, but did not have a chance to visit after its move to the new place.

We enjoyed eating delicious foods and talking a lot.

On my way home I listened to the webinar.

2022.4.11

It was fine.

After work I went to Ginza to have dinner with Expo'92 friends. Seven of us  got together and enjoyed the reunion eating delicious dinner.

I came home by the last train.

2020.1.18

It was sleeting and very cold.

Today there was the Center Examination for the university entry. Every year it is bad weather on this day.

In the morning I went to massage which is once a month self body maintenance.

In the afternoon I went to my friend's house to have a potluck party of Expo 92. There were 12 members. We enjoyed eating, drinking, and talking.

We called a couple in Spain and video-talked too for free. What a small world it became!

It was fun.

2020.1.10

It was fine.

In the afternoon I had a sudden meeting and had to overwork about an hour.

After work I hurried to Otemachi to see my ex- colleagues at an Italian restaurant. Our appointment was 18:30 and they had a happy hour from 17:00 to 19:00. So I missed that part but enjoyed the reunion.

It's been about 10 months since I left there but it seems there were some changes.

There was an accident but the problem was fixed soon.

2017.7.2

It was cloudy but hot.

I went to Kamiooka to buy a present and a card on my way to visit the house of my ex-colleague who gave a birth this January.

Six of us started working at JICE in the spring of 2009. We had a reunion at her house. At first six of us were getting together, but one of them could not come because of the sickness of her daughter, and the other could not come because of her father's sickness.
After all four of us and three liittle boys got together.
We had a good time.

After that I went to Kimono-Style Miya.

I had dinner with my kimono teacher.

It was a nice day.

2017.5.2

It was fine.  In the daytime it became very hot and I remembered Seville is called "Pan of Andalucia."

I could meet very old friends from Expo'92 today.I met three of them for the first time since Expo. Therefore it has been 25 years. They looked the same.

We enjoyed the reunion.

2015.11.7

It was fine in the morning and cloudy in the afternoon.

I was rather busy today.

In the morning I had a local representative meeting, then evacuation training.  There I happened to see my friends from primary school.

Then I went to Yokohama to dress up in the afternoon and headed for Mishima to attend a reunion of university. It's been a long time since I went there last. There were about 60 people from 8 classes, two of them came from abroad, and there were 8 people from my class.  I have seen some people from other classes at other regular reunions before, but this was the first time for me to see my classmates. Two of them own their companies, three of them are housewives, one of them is an official sevant, and one of them is an office worker. 
Two hours passed so quickly and I could not eat so much but enjoyed talking.

After that I met another classmate after a long time.

Now I am on the train heading for Shimoda where my friend owns pension.

2015.8.31

The last day of August, that means two thirds of 2015 are over.
For me this year is already an  unforgettable year because of my father. 

It was a rainy day.

After work I went to see my friends from Expo 92. There were 35 Japanese attendants at the Japanese pavilion of Expo 92 and some of them now live abroad and one of them happened to be in Tokyo on her way back to Spain tonight and seven of us got together.
It's been a while since we got together last.
We enjoyed talking old memories.
To my surprise today was her birthday and three of us  including me lost our father this year.
We look forward to having another reunion in Seville in 2017 for its 25th anniversary.

It was cloudy in the morning but rained heavily in the afternoon.

One of my colleagues from the Andian and Amazonian Pavilion of the Expo 2005 visited me at my university for lunch. It's been seven years and a half since we met each other last in Venezuela.
It's been 10 years since Expo 2005.
There were many changes in this 10 years.
We enjoyed the reunion.

It's been 23 years since the  Expo '92 started.

2015.3.6

It was cloudy daytime and became rain at night.

I visited the Gallery opening of my friend's mother's art exhibition in Gaienmae after work.
It started at 18:00 and was supposed to end at 19:30.  So I thought I would be in time. But I overworked and arrived around 19:30. Fortunately it was still open.
My friend and I went to Washington State University to study together as exchange students in 1996. And we have not seen each other since then. Therefore it's been about 18 years since we saw each other last.  Since we have been connected by Facebook, I did not feel such time difference. I could happen to see one more friend from WSU there.
I was invited to the party, and enjoyed meeting many people.
I missed the last train and came to the parking lot by taxi.

I had a nice time.

A new month has begun.  June is rokugatsu (六月), its old name is minazuki (水無月).  Minazuki literally means water without month.  However June in the solar calendar is known as a rainy season. 
Today I went to Shinjuku to attend a monthly meeting in the morning, had my late birthday lunch with ex-colleagues, and had dinner with my teacher from graduate school.
It's been about 2 months since I left the office. So as most of my ex-colleagues.  Seven of us got together, only one is still working at the same department, the other working in the different department.  Other five members left the company.  While we were working together, we really had a good time.  We are so proud of our job, and it was so enjoyable to meet new people.  We have worked together for four years.  Almost every day when we were at the office, we had lunch together.  Every one is so capable, inspiring, and outgoing.  And we love to know other culture and often go abroad and know many things about outside Japan.  Actually six of us have lived abroad several times.  So they know some foreign languages.  I am so glad that I have worked with them.
