It was a rainy day.

There was something wrong with our server at office. Therefore a new PC has been introduced.

There was a welcome luncheon for 5 newcomers. We ordered boxed lunch because there is no restaurant within the walking distance. I chose daily fish for main dish.

At night I prepared for this Saturday.

I made an ebook after a long interval.

It was fine and rain.

I had lunch with my friend at a restaurant in Tsukuihama. It's been five months or so since we met last. There seemed many things had happened to her since then.

She treated me.

After that I went to the grave yard to visit my parents. Price of flowers was increased.

I started preparing for the 92nd ebook.

It was fine.

I went to the nearby shrine before going to work as a ritual of the 15th day of the month.

 

I was invited to lunch at the restaurant where I wanted to go. I enjoyed eating and talking.

I got a book which my boss published recently.

I got some sweets from colleagues.

It was a good day.

It was fine and hot.

I went out for lunch with a colleague who will leave the office at the end of this month. This was the first time for us to go out for lunch together.

We went to an Italian restaurant and ordered two pastas and shared.

We enjoyed eating and talking.

I gave her my book as a replacement of business card. I am glad to see her liked it.

To my interesting her next job will be at the company where I have worked before.

Coincidence, isn't  it?

It was cloudy at first, slightly rained at lunch time  and became cloudy again.

There was a meeting with a world famous professor today. I have worked here for more than two years and a half  but did not have a chance to talk with him by now.

After the meeting my supervising faculty invited me and my colleague to a very nice restaurant and we had sushi lunch. It was the place where I have wanted to go and what is more it was the place only club members can enter. Therefore I was very glad.

On my way home  I dropped at Yokosukachuo and did chores.

It was a fruit  day.

It was fine but cold.

I could not get up early but fortunately I was in time.

There was a farewell and welcome luncheon today. It's been so long since we got together to have this kind of luncheon at office.

At night I had a chance to talk straight eith a friend over the phone. Since we are the same earth group people, it is better to speak frankly.

It was a cold rainy day. It sleeted and snowed in the day time.

We had a luncheon at a Chinese restaurant. There were seven dishes and all were very delicious.

At night I attended a zoom seminar. It was useful.

It was a rainy day.

Today is another ichiryumanbaibi (一粒万倍日) when one grain becomes 10000 times. I could finally experience Club House this morning. It was like a radio. 

There was a farewell luncheon today. I did not have a chance to work with her, but we had worked at the same organization before, 

It was a very international gathering composing of Japanese, American, Australian, Mexican, and Chinese.

It was fine but very windy.

A new month has started.

March is sangatsu (3月, 三月) or yayoi (弥生) in Japanese.

I went to the nearby shrine as the ritual of the first day of the month before going to work.

At office there was a luncheon.  It's been about a year since we had lunch together.

My colleagues and I had a farewell luncheon at a Japanese restaurant.

I ordered the Salmon roe rice bowl which is only 5 dishes available. It was rather late but I was lucky to be one of the five.

We had a good lunch.

I am arranging many things this month and next month. It is fun.

Happy St. Patrick Day!

It was fine, but still cold.

Usually I have lunch by myself, but today I had with three colleagues. Two of them are from the different section, and one of them was the new staff. Another one is from the same section.  It was a rare chance.

In the afternoon I attended the zoom seminar, and learned some tips.

After work I went to see friends at Shinagawa and ate dinner.

It is a national holiday called kenkoku kinen no hi (建国記念の日), National Foundation Day today.

It snowed slightly in the morning, and became cloudy in the afternoon. It was very cold. I am glad it did not rain at least.

I went to the Kimono-style Miya to get hairset, make-up, and dressed and went to Kacho (花蝶) in Ginza to attend luncheon. There were 40 people who love kimono there.

It was fine and very hot.

The new program started today and lasts for two weeks.

A new staff joined to our office today and we had a welcome luncheon.It was a nice restaurant.

It was fine and hot.

We had a farewell luncheon at a Japanese  restaurant. It's been a while since I went  there. There were 12 of us at a table, and it was rather hard to talk but we enjoyed eating, talking and taking pictures.

There was a place I wanted to go tonight if I could finish my work earlier. Unfortunately I was too busy to go today and had to overwork nearly until 10 pm in spite of the premium Friday.

It was cloudy in the morning but became rain in the afternoon. Not only it is a rainy season but also the typhoon No. 5 is coming.

Today I went to the Kimono-style Miya first to have hairset, makeup, and dressed. They had a limousine event and I could see the handsome Canadian models, Filip and Nicolas again after a long time.

After that I went to Yokohama to attend a luncheon. There were about 50 people who wore kimomos. We enjoyed eating.

If it was not raining, I would go to Kamakura to see hydrangeas and fireflies.
Instead I went grocery shopping.

It was fine and warm.

At lunch time we had a welcome luncheon for a new staff.
Since there were 12 people in total, we had booked the tables and sent the orders in advance.
There were many choices, first antipasto, second main dish, third rice or bread, and fourth soft drink. Price range is from yen 900 to  yen 1500.
The meat dishes were rather impressive and voluminous.  But not for salada dish.

It was fine.

Since a new staff joined to our office, we had a welcome luncheon at a German restaurant in the Roppongi Hills.
I chose the limited daily menu which
cost yen 1000. It included salad, chicken eith cream sauce, rice, dessert, and tea.
The pictures of the wall were impressive.
They use the beer glass for iced coffee too.  Iced coffee looked like black beer. There is a mark of 300ml or so on the glass, and we talked about the characteristic of German people. We think they are very precise. What do you think?

The end of July. How fast time flies!
How was your July?
I was rather busy with two business trips to Hokkaido and Tohoku which are in the north and an invitation trip to Fukuoka and Oita which are in the south.
I have attended many seminars, met many people, and had delicious lunch and dinner with different friends.

It was fine and hot today.
Since this was the last day for one of the colleagues, we had luncheon at a Spanish restaurant where we went before. I ordered the seafood paella lunch set which includes salad, soup, paella and soft drink. It cost yen 800 which is rather reasonable.
There were two other staffs who left the office in other departments.

2017.7.21

It was fine and very hot.

We had a farewell luncheon for a professor whose term was over and went back to the office he used to belong. We went to the French restaurant where we went before. There were three courses: today's special for yen1000, lunch menu for 1500, and Chef's recommendation for 2800. Today's soecial is a fixed menu and looked nice. Lunch menu has three choices each for appetizer and main dishes. There was gazpacho, Spanish sumner soup of Tomato which I like very much. Therefore I chose it with beef dish. They were delicious.

It was fine and hot.

I went out for lunch with four colleagues at a Japanese style restaurant where I have been interested in recently. It was a nice one with nice rooms. I ordered ladies' lunch which had a dessert and cost yen 1480.
They have a tea room too. If you order more than yen 25,000 course dinner, they will serve green tea made in the tea room.

There was a leaving and arriving ceremony for directors in the afternoon. They say the changes happen suddenly and they have not been informed at that time of last week yet.

On my way back I visited the Fuji Film Square to see the new exhibitions.

I am glad to leave the office earlier today.
