It was cloudy and hot.
I went to a shrine, my parents' graveyard, and grocery shopping in the morning.
I went to Tennozu isle to attend a lecture about preventive medicine in the afternoon. I got lymphatic massage during the recess. The talk by the CEO was informative and very interesting.
I was going to visit a gallery or see a movie after that, but it finished later than I thought, and I came back straight.

2018.7.1
It was fine.
A new month has started. July is Shichigatsu(七月) or Fumizuki (文月) in Japanese.
This is the start of the second half of 2018.
As the ritual of the first day of the month I went to the shrine in the morning.
I attended the seminar at Kanda in the afternoon. There were many participants and there was no seat available. So I had to stand for three hours.
After the seminar I went to Ginza to see the photo exhibitions but it was over when I arrived there.
Therefore I decided to go to Ueno instead.
When I arrived there the place of the main purpose was already closed again but I walked around the Shinobazu no ike (不忍池), Shinobazu pond and enjoyed seeing some lotus flowers and hydrangea.

2018.6.17
It was cloudy but became fine.
I went to see a Japanese movie Manbiki kazoku (万引き家族) "Shoplifters" which got the Palme d'Or at the International Film Festival in Cannes this year. The director, Hirokazu Koreeda (是枝裕和) has produced many famous movies which dealt with social problems.
After the movie I went shopping and went to the next venue, Shinagawa. I visited two shrines there, and went to see my friends.
After that I went to Kamakura. First my friend and I went to Tsurugaoka hachimangu (鶴岡八幡宮) shrine, then ate dinner. On our way to the restaurant we happened to see the wedding couple.
After having dinner we came back to the shrine to see the fireflies. Today is the last day for fireflies viewing there. It was very beautiful. This was the second time for me to visit there. At first there was a long line, but we enjoyed walking around twice.
This was the fourth time for me to see fireflies this year.
I am glad to have done so.

2018.4.22
It was fine and hot like summer.
I went to Hinodecho to get massage. This is my once a month treat to my body which is very stiff.
Last time we talked about omlett cooked by rice cooker and she promised me to cook it for me next time. As she promised I could eat it. It looked like cheese cake or pudding rather than omlett.
After massage on my way back to the station, I enjoyed the baloon art performance and kind of circus at Noge. Yesterday and today there are famous performances called "Noge Daidogei (野毛大道芸) The International Street Performers Festival." It is the 43rd festival.
I went grocery shopping after coming back.
Then I listened to the webseminar instead of attending the real one.
I washed many winter clothings while packing the suitcase.
The sunset was so beautiful today.
The pick up driver came around 7:30 pm.
I am glad that I do not have to bring the heavy suitcase to the airport during rush hours. Thank you for the card-holder benefit.

2017.2.12
It was fine.
In the morning I washed my car and painted the scratch, then went shopping and filled up my car.
In the afternoon I went to Misaki to attend the gathering to think about the terminal care at home which consisted of a lecture and panel discussion. The lecturer was a famoous sociologist, Professor Chizuko Ueno (上野千鶴子). This was the second time for me to attended her lecture. Last time was at Rikkyo University about a year and two months ago. Her way of talk is very soft but witty. I asked her autograph and picture at that time and she was very playful wearing Alice band of reindeer.
Today's theme was "Is it possble to die at home even not having family?"
After the lecture there was a panel discussion by 5 home medical care related panelists.
There were an interpreter of sign language and some summary writer.
After that I asked her autograph and picture again.
At the venue I happened to see my high school classmate, my student, and my other student's mother.
After that I went to Jogashima to see the last day of narcissus festival. I saw the beautiful sunset there.

2016.4.3
It was rainy in the morning, but fortunately I did not use the umbrella, and it became cloudy and rather chilly in the afternoon on the contrary to the weather forecast today.
I went to Tokyo to attend a free publishing seminar from 1 pm to 2 pm. There were six participants who wish to publish the book.
They say every day more than 200 books are released and there are merites and demerits for both self-pubishing and commercial publishing.
They gave me a book about Writer's Income and Expenditure.
After that I went to the Meguro River (目黒川: meguro gawa) where is one of the most famous places to see beautiful cherry blossoms in Tokyo. I started from the Nakameguro station. There were so many people along the river to see about 800 cherry blossom trees for 4 km long with 28 bridges. The view from each bridge was very nice. There were many food and drink stands here and there.
I met Professor Hagiwara with his beloved dog, Rana-chan at Tenjin bashi (天神橋). He used to work at UNIDO, and has been an African issue specialist, and was my teacher at the Ability Garden in 2004. We went to nearby Pizzeria and enjoyed talking many things including about his published book and the new book. Since this was a part of his special event "Find Rana-chan at the Meguro River, " and I was the 22nd visitor, he kindly gave me a prize.
After saying good-bye, I kept walking to Meguro station and took some pictures of cherry blossoms.
There was a sponge cake factory again near the Tenjin bashi, so I bought a small box of the cakes. This was the second Sunday in a row to find the sponge cake factory.
I am glad to see the beautiful cherry blossoms today.

2016.3.27
It was cloudy in the morning, but became fine in the afternoon. However it was chilly.
I went to Yokohama wearing kimono to attend a luncheon. It was held at an Italian restaurant of the Techno Tower Hotel. This was the first time for me to ride on the Seaside line from Sugita.
It started from salad, next was pasta and pan, then main dish. Dessert was buffet style and we could choose what we like. Drink was self service. There were about 22 participants. One table consisted of 4 people. Next to me was 86 years old gentleman. The other was a mother of two daughters whom I talked for the first time. Another was a shop staff. We enjoyed eating and talking.
After that I visited a nearby famous factory of Sponge cake.
On my way back I rode to Kanazawa hakkei by Seasideline. That is I rode from the beginning to the ending.
I changed the train and dropped at Yokosuka chuo to shop. It is fun to find presents.
At night there was an annual general meeting of local community. This is the last duty of my two years representative role. Next Saturday we have a farewell party. And this is the final.

2016.2.28
It was fine.
I went to Yokohama to see a Japanese movie titled "Saraba abunai deka (さらば あぶない刑事)" meaning "Good bye Dangeroud Cops. "
It's been about 30 years since this TV program series were on air. It was one of the most popular detective dramas at that time.
The movie was shot in Yokohama, so the locations were very familiar. There are two heros. In five days they are going to retire. And incidents happened.
After that I went to the beauty salon to have my hair cut and perm. Then I went shopping.
On my way back I dropped at Miurakaigan to see the Cherry Blossom Festival. I walked to Misakiguchi station and enjoyed taking pictures of Kawazu zakura (河津桜) and rape blossoms along the railway. They were very beautiful.
After coming back to the parking lot, I went grocery shopping.
It was a nice weekend.
