2018.1.23
It was fine.
Since I left my car at the parking lot last night because of heavy snow, I had to walk to the station this morning too.
Trains delayed this morning, so as in the evening but from different reasons.
After work I visited the Fuji Film Square. There are some new exhibitions starting last Friday. I liked some pictures.
When I got to the parking lot, there was no snow at all. All were melted! I felt lucky and could drive home.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

2017.6.12
It was cloudy.
I got an earlier train but there was a problem on the overhead wire of the train and it stopped long. In addition to that there were some passengers who felt sick in another train and to save them that train stopped for a while and other trains had to stop to wait for them. Usually it took about two hours and 10 minutes or so to get to the office, but today it took more than three hours and 40 minutes or so that I felt tired from the morning.

2016.4.12
It was fine but cold today.
They say it is the coldest today and will be warm from tomorrow.
Today is the first day that I use the new commuting pass. I go from Misakiguchi to Roppongi via Daimon. The shortest travel time for trains is 1 hour 22 minutes but when I use it takes about two hours and costs yen 1142 for one way for 72.7km.
The commuting pass for one month is 32380 yen, for three months 92290 yen, and for six months 174860 yen. The longer, the cheaper.

2016.2.17
It was fine and cold.
My commuting time is very long. It takes about two hours and a half in one way, that means five hours per day. I use two trains and if I wait I could usually sit for the longer part which is about one hour and a half. I can listen to the world news by radio, read and write emails, search something by internet, watch movies or TV program by smartphone, read books, do games or solve puzzles or sleep.
I tried to find a restaurant and applied for the seminar ticket by writing a short essay today.
After changing the train I noticed the advertisement for a cram school, and there were some quizes and I enjoyed sloving. It was fun.
If you enjoy learning, you may learn more.

2015.4.13
It was another cold rainy day.
It takes about two hours and a half to go to the office and another two hours and a half to come back every day. That is about five hours per day.
It may seem waste of time, but I enjoy commuting because I can do many things using my smart phone.
Today I made some reservations on the phone in the morning and watched some video lecture in the evening.
How convenient it is!

2014.5.21
It takes about two hours and a half for me to commute one way. One hour and a half riding on the train first and change them for another 30 minutes ride.
About 20 years ago, there were only two ways to spend on the train, one is either to sleep and the other is to read newspaper or books.
Now I have a smart phone, so there are many ways besides them. For example, I can read or hear or watch the news, play many games, check emails and write replies, post blog or SNS.
I first write some emails. then check Facebook, and play games listening to the news.
For the past few days I read blog of someone who got a cancer and wrote his daily thought according to my friend's recommendation by Facebook. This morning I saw many You tube movies posted by Facebook of my friend, and enjoyed watching them.
Though my commuting is very long, I think I can make use of them.

2012.9.27
At lunch time four colleagues and I went out for lunch at a Japanese restaurant near the office where four of us have not been before. We enjoyed eating and chatting.
In the morning after I left home, the Keihin kyuko (京浜急行) line resumed normal service therefore I could come home by regular route. I am glad to be back to normal. Thank you very much.
2012.9.26
The Keihin kyuko (京浜急行) line has been closed partially therefore I used JR Yokosuka (横須賀) line between Kurihama (久里浜) and Shinagawa (品川). So many people thought the same way, and there were so many people at Kurihama station in the morning. It is the terminal and I have to ride on for about 1 hour and a half, and I thought more people will get on later and I would be too tired if I keep standing among so many people around. So I decided to take a green car. It cost yen 950. The price differs between less than 50km and more than 51km. If you buy the ticket inside the car, it will be yen 1200. The price differs between weekdays and weekends too. After getting in, you can sit on any vacant seat, and if you use Suica or Pasmo, prepaid card with commuting ticket, you need to touch it at the place above your seat, and the light will be on while you will occupy the place.
Last Saturday I used the green car for Shinkansen, which cost yen 1,000 from Nagoya (名古屋) to Shinagawa. Compared this, it seemed the cost of green car fee of the Yokosuka line was expensive, but I am glad to sit this morning.
On my way back from Shinagawa to Kurihama, I had to use JR Yokosuka line again, and had to stand for a long time.....
It seems it will take for a while to run the services normally, so I have to use JR Yokosuka line tomorrow too......
We often realize the importance of "usual" when we lost something. I hope it will become normal again soon.
