It was fine.

We arrived at Yokohama at 6:40 after stopping 4 PA/SA.

I came home around 8AM.

I stayed and worked at home.

I received return gifts of home town tax which I pressed the button twice by mistake and I paid double at two places.

Tomorrow is already the end of January.

How first time flies!

Happy New Year!!

I got up early and attended the morning tour to the Ise shrine for an hour and a half.

After having breakfast I changed to kimono.

We went to Naiku and offered okagura performance and went to inside the fence for the formal visit. There were so many people today because of the new year.

After that we came back to Jingu kaikan for lunch, and we visited the shrine again.

After the tour three of us went to have Akafuku, very famous sweets in Ise. To my lucky they took me to the station by car.

I came to Nagoya, had dinner, and came to the hotel.

To my delight my 113th ebook became No.1 in Australia.

It was a nice new year's day.

Happy New Year!

 

It was fine.

I attended to the guided tour by a staff of the Jingu kaikan from 6:30 am. After the tour I saw the beautiful sun rise in front of the torii gate.

After having breakfast, I wore the kimono and we headed for Naiku shrine and paid the formal visit.

After that we had lunch and visited the Naiku shrine again.

Around 16:30 I came back to Jingukaikan to change.

Most of the shops there close at 17:00.

I took a night bus at 20:30 to Yokohama.

It was a nice new year's day.

A new month has started. February is nigatsu(2月or 二月) or kisarag(如月) in Japanese.

This year the new year of the lunar calendar falls on today. 

So Happy New Year!!

I got up early to get special sweets prepared only for the first day of the month at Akafuku, the famous Japanese sweets factory in Ise. They opens at 5 am every day.

Yestersay at 5 pm all of the shops were closed, but I was so surprised to see many of shops were open at 5 am this morning.

After coming back to the hotel I joined a body adjustment practice, and attended an early shrine visit which was very nice.

After came back to the hotel and ate breakfast, I changed to kimono and attended the special formal visit.

We came back to eat lunch and visited the Ise jinju shrine in the afternoon too.

After the program I went to Ise city station by bus to get on a train and came to Nagoya.

All the restaurants have been closed when I got to Nagoya around 8:30 pm.

Today my 32nd book free promotion started. I hope you enjoy.

 It was fine.

Six of the Power spot meisters went to Kongoshoji (金剛證寺) temple together in the morning. We happened to see 4 more meisters, and one more later at the temple.

After coming back to Isuzugawa station, I said good-bye to them and took lunch first, and got on a bus to Futamigaura to see the meotoiwa (夫婦石) couple rocks and visit some shrines there. It's been several years since I went there last. I hope to visit there on summer solstice someday.

Since today's lucky food is oshiruko (お汁粉) sweet red bean soup, I ate zenzai(ぜんざい) at Akafuku (赤福) branch where I ate rice cake yesterday at the main shop.

After that I walked to the Futamigaura station and took two trains to go to Kaminogo, and visited Izonomiya (伊雑宮), where I have been to sometimes before. It's been a while since I visited there last before. I usually visited there by a big group. I walked around this time and visited new places.

I came back to Iseshi and had dinner, and picked up the suitcase and took a train to Yokkaichi where I stay tonight.

I walked a lot, more than 25,000 steps  today.
