Happy New Year!

The year of snake in the lunar calendar has begun.

I could spend the 5th new year's eve and new year's day in Ise.

Weather was fine and I could see the first sun rise of the year.

I got up early to attend the morning service, ate breakfast, changed to kimono, and checked out the hotel.

We went to Naigu to dedicate Okagura performance, had lunch, and visited the shrines again.

On our way back to the hotel we had sweet red been soup.

After coming back to the hotel I changed the clothing. To my glad my friend took me to the station. I had dinner.

Now I am getting on the night bus bound for Yokohawa.

It was a nice trip.

I got up early to see the sunrise but couldn't.

I went back to the hotel to change to kimono and went to visit the shrines.

I happened to see a friend there.

I went back to the hotel to check out and went to Jingu kaikan via Life long learning center and visitor center to see the hina dolls. Since I visited all 6 places and I got a small present.  At the visitor center I got a useful information and headed for Jingu kaikan.

After leaving a suitcase there, I headed for Ise city to visit the Tsukiyomi gu shrine, and took a bus to visit the Yamato hime gu shrine, and headed for the meeting place.

There were 72 participants today for Mr. Fujimoto's tour. We visited two shrines, had dinner, and a lecture.

It was a nice day.

It was fine.

I got up early to see the sunrise from the sea, but I could not.

I met a friend on my way back to the hotel. 

I changed to the kimono and visited Futami okitama jinja shrine and couple rocks. I decided to visit Hinjitsukan for the first time, to my glad I saw many hina dolls sets for the festival.

I took a bus to Jingu kaikan to leave the suitcase, and headed for the meeting spot.  

We are a group of 57 people and visited Sarutahiko jinja shrine and Geku shrine where we paid the formal visit.

We had nice dinner and three hour lecture.

My 63rd ebook is No.1 in Canada.

It was fine and cold.

I got up early to see the sunrise at the beach. Unfortunately I did not see the sunrise but saw the Mt. Fuji.

I came back to the hotel and changed to kimono, and went to shrines again.

After that I took a bus to Isuzugawa station, left a suitcase at the locker, visited another shrine, and had nice lunch which we happened to find. There are many postcards made by the owner, and I bought a beginners cutting picture kit.

At 1 pm we got together and visited Sarutahiko jinja shrine and Isejingu geku and did formal visit and dedicated okagura performance.

After having dinner, we had lecture.

It was a fruitful day.

Happy Lunar New Year!!

It was cloudy.

We visited the Naigu (内宮) of Ise jingu shrine and dedecated okagura again.

After having lunch we walked around naigu again.

The famous okageyokocho (おかげ横丁) street looked different from the last time I came here.

I went to Akafuku (赤福) where is very famous for rice cakes with sweet red bean paste.

We came to Ise city by taxi and checked in the hotel with hot spring.

10 of the group members enjoyed having the new year's party.

It was a nice New Year's Day!
