I left the hotel at 7 AM and went to Miyajima.
To my fortunate today was the day of monthly festival and I could see the ceremony there for the first time.
At the end of the ceremony high tide has come and we had to leave there. I have been there several times but this was the first time for me to see water coming up to the floor.
After that I visit Daiganji temple. I dropped
my water bottle and it was broken.
After that I had early lunch.
I went up to Mt. Misen by ropeway, climbed up the mountain, visited temples, shrines, and waterfall.
After coming back it became low tide and I could walk to the great torii gate which is usually seen in the sea.
I feel lucky to see both high tide and low tide in a day.
I met a friend there and we were attacked by deers. I assume they must have been hungry and thought we have something to eat.
She kindly take me back to the station and I bought some souvenirs.
It was a long day.
