A new month has started. May is gogatsu (５月 or 五月) or Satsuki (皐月) in Japanese. It is my birth month and I like it very much.

It was cloudy at first but became rain.

At lunch time I went to the nearby shrine as a ritual of the first day of the month, and I went to the bank to get a concert ticket, and shopping too.

I have had a back pain so I feel lucky to be able to stay home and save commuting time.

There was a big news about negative interest rate cancellation. It's been 17 years since the interest rate was raised last.

I got a Christmas letter from my first American friend's family whom we have become friends in the summer of 1983. Their son and nephews and niece will be coming to Japan in March.

I am looking forward to seeing them.

I worked at home today.

I cooked French toast for lunch.

After work I prepared the 109th ebook.

It was fine.

I worked at home and stayed at home all day long.

Therefore I saw the beautiful sunset after a while.

Good things of the remote work are to save commuting time and gas, to save time to change and make up, to save for lunch, to concentrate, to receive the delivery, and so on.

In the evening I used Skype to call Hong Kong after a long time because my bank account was temporary suspended. I am glad the money I had there was still available. I need to call again.

At night I pressed summer clothings and cleared, and pressed fall clothings.

It was fine and very hot.

I worked at home.

 

At lunch time I went to the post office and bank to transfer money to pay tax and other things.

In the evening I went to the coffee shop to meet somebody. I left home soon after work without checking the message which said the change of meeting time, and I had to wait long.

To my sad the shop will stop serving desert set from July 3.

It was a rainy day, but became fine in the evening, and I saw the very beautiful sunset.

I chose the remote work today to go to the city office at lunch time to renew My Number Card.

Everything went well. Next time when I renew the card 5 years later I need the new photo.

I received the pictures taken on April 1st by a professional photograqher. At that time cherry blossoms were full in bloom. After photo shooting , I went to Tokyo to see my friends from Singapore and visited the Inui street of the Imperial Palace and Ueno. How fast time flies!
