It is a national holiday called Midori no hi (みどりの日) Green Day.

It was fine and beautiful.

I left home around 8:30am and headed for Hinohara Village to visit a shrine and some waterfalls with two friends.

This is the third year for me to visit there at this time of the year. 

We went up to the Tomin no mori (都民の森) by bus and walked to Mito otaki(三頭大滝) first, and walked down to other three waterfalls as we have visited for the past two years.

Sky is blue, trees are green, flowers were yellow, white, pink, purple, red, magenta, and so on. Sunshine was so beautiful.

We walked about 16km for 5 hours or so.

We had a nice hiking.

I came home around 9:30pm.

It is a national holiday called Midori no hi (みどりの日), Greenery Day which used to be on April 29 from 1989 to 2006 and became Show no hi (昭和の日)  Day of Sowa after 2007. Therefore since 2007  Midori no hi became on May 4. 

Besides flag raising, it is just a holiday during the Golden Week.

I attended three zoom sessions in the morning. First is laugh yoga, second is to clear, and third is mat yoga.

Besides these, I finished transcrpting of the assigned part of the seminar and submitted and listened to a seminer about investment.

It was a long day sitting in front of PC,.but no problem because weather was not so good in the day time.

The Emergency declaration was extended until the end of May.

The Grand Sumo Summer Tournament in May was canceled.
