2018.8.7

It was a slight rainy day and rather cool.

I had been looking forward to seeing the fireworks festival in Miurakaigan tonight, but it was canceled yesterday due to the coming typhoon No.13. How disappointing! Fireworks festival is one of the best things in summer in Japan.
I hope to see any of them during this summer anytime.

Today I had three meetings. One is a weekly team meeting, the other is bi-monthly meeting, and another is annual meeting to discuss the plan of next fiscal year with an external related organization.
All went well.

I visited the Fuji Film Square with my colleague after work. There were new exhibitions. The main part was about the 100 years history of High School Baseball Tournament Games which began yesterday. There were many pictures of old stars who became professtional baseball players later in their lives.

After work I visited the Fuji Film Square. There were some new exhibitions. I liked some pictures taken in the world of  Fahrenheit zero and Resort places. The former is mostly ice and frost, the latter were colorful clouds and red and yellow leaves of mountains.
They were very beautiful.

2017.1.18

It was fine.

I could get up earlier than usual, so I left 30 minutes earlier than usual this morning.

After work I went to the Fuji Film Square again. There are five exhibitions now. Yesterday when I visited there, I liked some pictures from the landscape parts. And one of the pictures of the Photo Contest of Civil Engineering Facilities attracted me the most. It is a mosaic art picture of all the applied pictures. Please check the following link.

They kindly gave me a calendar.

The exhibition lasts until Thursday January 19. If you have a chance, please visit there.

2016.11.16

It was cloudy and windy.

After work I went to Fuji Film Square to see the new exhibitions. One of them is  beautiful landscape, the other is thoroughbred. The former is allowed to take pictures to share, the latter is prohibited.
There are some beautiful pictures.

If you visit there 24 times, you get a calendar. I have already visited there more than 24 times and been waiting for them to start distributing it. And today finally I got it. It is very beautiful, and the quality of paper is very nice. Fuji Film is indeed a photo company!

Someday I hope to make a beautiful calendar by myself.

2016.9.30

It was cloudy and fine.

September 30. The last day of September. That means three fourths of 2016 has already gone. Where are they?
I remember some events happened during the nine months. But I do not know how much I remember the rest.

It's been a half year since I started the new job. Today I ordered 100 business cards. This is the third time I ordered since April. So in six months I have met more than 150 people. I am not sure how many names and faces match though.

After work I went to the Fuji Film Square to see the new exhibitions.
There I was called by the cosmetician to try their new cosmetics which is now on special campaign.
Can you imagine the film comany is now making cosmetics using their anti-oxidizing technique of film applying to human skin?
They are also selling suppliment. I did not know but they said there is a facial treatment room at the corner of the same lot.
Many things are keeping progressing.

2016.8.15

It was cloudy and not so hot.

Today is shusen kinen bi (終戦記念日), 71st anniversary of the end of World War II.  There was a memorial sevice which was broadcast on live. At 12 noon we stood up and offered the silent prayer for a minute at the office.

After work I visited the Fuji Film Square on my way to the Roppongi station and enjoyed the two new exhibitions. One was pictures of sky with stars and northern lights. The other was pictures of natures, especially flowers, insects, spider web with dew, ice, and so on. Its title was "とっておきの時間: totteoki no jikan, " Specially saved moment. There was the photographer, Ms. Yukie Hayashi there and I enjoyed talking with her.
If you have time, I recommend you to visit there. It is open from 10 am to 7 pm and free of charge.

2016.7.21

It was a rainy day.

After work I stopped at the Fuji Film Square.  Unfortunately it was the time of changing the exhibitions, and I could only see one fourth or so. There were some beautiful pictures of Mt. Fuji with the moon.  When it is  shining on the top of Mt. Fuji, we call it Pearl Fuji. When the sun is shining on the top of Mt. Fuji, it is called Diamond Fuji.
I want to take both pictures someday.

2016.5.6

It was cloudy in the morning, but started to rain in the evening.

If you take a day off today, you can get 6 days off and if you take 2 days off on May 2 and 6, you can get 10 days off. Therefore it seems trains are not so crowded yet.

After work, I went to the Fuji Film Square. Two new exhibitions started today. One was flower and landscape, the other is the world in the ocean titled "Into the Blue." They will last until Thursday May 12.
I hope to visit there at least 24 times this year to get a beautuful calendar of Japanese landscape by the end of November.
