2016.2.7

It was fine but very cold.

I went to Kinugasa to see my friend's concert in the afternoon.  It was consisted of two parts.  The first was an Italian Opera "Cavalleria Rusticana." The latter was assortment of famous opera music.  There were some professional musicians, and they were very impressive.

My friend appeared in the second part and sang Madam Butterfly and other songs with beautiful costume.
She used to be a teacher of junior high school, but quitted the job and got married and have three children. Now she is a business owner.  I respect her because she keeps singing in spite of her busy life.

In the evening I had a monthly meeting of the local representatives. There I knew about the traditional local events for the first time.

After all I went out for both Saturday and Sunday, I could not do what I wanted to finish.

2015.5.23

It was cloudy.

Since I came home by taxi last night, I had to walk to the station to take a train.

There was my high school friend's concert in Kinugasa in the afternoon.
Every year there is a Friendship Concert in Yokosuka around this time of the year and my friend sang some songs. This was the 20th anniversary.  Usually I meet my high school teachers and friends, but this year I did not see any acquaintances.
Usually after the concert my friends and I go to have dinner, but this year we did not.

At night I finally put the pictures of the 88 buddhist images from Shikoku 88 temples pilgrimage to the album.

2013.2.16

It was very cold today.
I went to massage in the afternoon in Yokohama (横浜) and went to the Orchard Hall in Shibuya (渋谷) to see Symphonic Concert 2012 Kei Ogla & Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra with my high school friends at night. It was consisted of two parts, starting 6 PM and ending 8:50 PM.  There were two guests, Ms. Peggy Hayama (ペギー葉山) and Mr. Tomio Umezawa (梅沢富美男).  This was the first time for me to go to this concert, but my friends had been to before.
Mr. Kei Ogura (小椋佳) is a famous musician.  He used to be a bank clerk.  His talk was very interesting.  He said he is now 69 years old  and produced about 2000 songs though he can't play any instruments nor read or write notes.  Interesting, isn't it?  There are some hit songs.  He decided to retire at the age of 70 and will have four-day funeral concerts while he is arrive so-called seizenso (生前葬) September next year.  He will sing 25 different songs each day.  So he will sing 100 songs out of 2000.
We went to have dinner and celebrate one of the friend's birthday after the concert.
It was a nice day.
